The Worst Scammers in Gaming History are Back
And they are asking for your money

Have you ever heard about The Day Before?
In case you haven’t, this game was quite literally the bane of a small game development studio called FNTASTIC which released a game trailer on IGN featuring an open-world post-apocalyptic MMO survival game.
You can see the trailer here:
This was an ambitious title that had many people interested, it even became the most wishlisted game on Steam at some point.
However, FNTASTIC didn’t have the best track record in making good games so the majority of game enthusiasts (myself included) were skeptical about how the game would turn out…and we were correct.
Long story short, the game was delayed multiple times, it turned out to be an asset flip, it plagiarized The Division 2, Call Of Duty, and Rockstar for their trailers, and had a team of volunteers instead of full-time developers working on it.
An asset flip is a bad practice of using third-party assets (free or paid) to quickly build a low-quality product/game to sell without or barely changing anything.
As you would expect, the scam alarms were ringing everywhere but that didn’t stop some people from buying it at $40.
But soon after, and to nobody’s surprise, The Day Before turned out to be a boring, empty, buggy mess that flopped so hard that their development studio closed 4 days after its release.
FNTASTIC was no more.
To learn more about this whole debacle, I recommend you give this video by Skill Up a watch:
In most cases, this would be the end of it, but these guys in FNTASTIC just keep defying common sense.
Recently, they released this tweet asking for money through Kickstarter which unsurprising got a community note:
(They removed it)
Not only are they asking for money to bring their shady studio back.
They also want you to know that they are finally including honesty, professionalism, and transparency in their work ethics, along with a bunch of other stuff they added to a PDF on another tweet.
(They removed it)
Besides adding values that any real company should have from the start they also announced the release of another game called Escape Factory.
This thing over here: (Privated)
Based on the trailer I can only say that it looks like a downgraded Fall Guys and after seeing a review from Luke Stephens testing it, my suspicion was pretty much confirmed.
Not only that but this new game is the same as The Day Before — another asset flip. Even though they said they were doing things differently this time.
The audacity of some people.🙄
UPDATE:
You might have noticed that the trailer for Escape Factory and the Tweets posted by FNTASTIC are not showing. That is because the video was Privated and the tweets were removed.
Now, they decided to move all their activities to their private Discord.
I took a screenshot this time.

Not only that but they are making ANOTHER game:

Honestly, it’s not even funny anymore it’s just sad.
Final Thoughts
FNTASTIC does not deserve a second chance.
They scammed their players with an overpriced and overhyped game that couldn’t even run properly and now they expect people to forget about it and give their money away as if nothing happened.
Wow…just wow.
So please don’t give them your support, they don’t deserve it. Especially after confirming that this is just another asset flip because it shows that they didn’t learn their lesson the first time.
Anyway, that’s all for now.
