Gawr Gura is Graduating from Hololive

On April 5, 2025, Hololive announced that Gawr Gura from the first generation of Hololive EN Myth will graduate from her idol activities on May 1st, 2025. The official Twitter announcement was posted minutes after the announcement stream on Gura's YouTube channel.

During the stream, Gura told the viewers that she is graduating due to disagreements with management and company direction, something that has been said various times by other now-graduated talents.

She also mentioned how inexperienced she was with her idol activities, and she would sometimes be so stressed to the point where she had trouble eating, but despite that, her community made it all worth it.

The stream ended with Gura expressing her love and appreciation for her community and the fans who supported her on her journey.
