EARNINGS DISCLAIMER
We believe in full transparency, so in the following section and page, we will detail how GameTubing currently earns money to cover the costs of running the site and for the creator to make a living.
Ads
Like most websites, we run ads on our blog. Some are done through advertising platforms like Google Adsense, Ezoic, Mediavine, etc, and others are done in agreement between the company or business and us. In the case of the ladder, we try to make sure that the services or products promoted are of interest and useful to our audience.
GameTubing is a blog for gaming, vtubing, and social media news. We won’t promote products that are not related to our readers, so if you see ads about other topics, it’s most certainly the AdSense platform that is placing them on our website, not us.
Please keep that in mind when navigating our website.
Affiliate Sales
Every so often, we will create and publish content that might contain affiliate or referral links. We only add affiliate links about products we recommend, and we try our best to only recommend products that will help or add value to our readers.
If you purchase any product after clicking the affiliate link, we will earn a commission, which depends on the company and product but usually goes from 1% to 50%, with some products offering higher rates.
However, please note that we do not accept payments for positive reviews as that would be misleading and dishonest on our part.
This monetization method is called affiliate marketing and is used by some of the biggest brands on the internet, such as Amazon, eBay, Google, etc., and is a common monetization method used in blogs and social media.
Do Affiliate Products Cost More Money?
No, absolutely not.
Companies do not increase the price of their products to earn more from affiliate sales. On the contrary, they offer deals to save you money. These deals are usually coupon codes or special affiliate promotions exclusive to the creator or website.
Do You See My Personal Details?
Nope. We don’t see any personal information when you make a purchase through our affiliate links. The only thing we see is that an anonymous user made a purchase on a date/time, and which product they bought.
Who sells the Steam Keys?
When applicable, we might place affiliate links to official Steam key resellers.
These are platforms like Fanatical, Green Man Gaming, Humble Bundle, etc, and what makes them different from shady unofficial sellers is that they buy the keys directly from the developers, and only they can sell them on their site.
No shady or independent sellers involved.
Community Support
We use Buy Me A Coffee to receive support in the form of tips and donations. You will find a widget at the bottom right corner of our website where you can leave a tip of any amount you want, not just the presented amounts.
Sponsorships
It is possible for business partners to sponsor content published in GameTubing, and in those cases, the content will have some kind of indicator to show that it is sponsored.
Collaborations
GameTubing will sometimes work alongside other brands that we believe might contribute or be of interest to our readers and they will often have a custom banner at the end of a post.

End of the Earnings Disclaimer
These are all the current methods used to run and fund GameTubing.
We appreciate any support we can get to help us run the site and continue with our activities to give unfiltered opinions about events happening in the gaming and vtubing communities from the perspective of a vtuber who loves video games with a passion and it’s curious about all the things happening on social media, not just drama.
With your help, we won’t have to worry about algorithms or ever-changing policies that are beyond our control and can focus on creating honest and useful content for our readers.
Thank you!
